Day 1: Depart Lancaster at approximately 5 AM. with a Made to order Breakfast as we travel to America’s Stonehenge in Salem, New Hampshire. This is a walking audio tour. Like Stonehenge in England, America's Stonehenge was built by ancient people well versed in astronomy and stone construction. Day 2: Breakfast buffet at the hotel before departing for the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad in Meredith, NH. The Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad is located in the village of Meredith, NH. Day 4: After our breakfast buffet at the hotel we travel the breathtaking Kancamagus Highway a 34.5-mile scenic drive along NH's Rt. 112 in Northern New Hampshire which is well known as one of the best Fall Foliage viewing areas in the country. The Kancamagus Highway is now designated an American Scenic Byway for its rich history, aesthetic beauty, and culture. The Kancamagus Scenic Byway takes you through a path cut through the White Mountain National Forest with breathtaking views of the White Mountains, the Swift River, Sabbaday Falls, Lower Falls, and Rocky Gorge. Stopping in Lincoln, NH we will visit Fadden’s General Store this old-fashioned general store has been family owned since 1896 and features an on-site maple sugar house that has won “Best Maple Syrup in New Hampshire” five times. You will have time to shop for maple syrup as well as groceries and souvenirs. The tour includes the Maple Sugar House, a self-guided tour of the Maple Museum, and a maple sample.
Our tour continues through the White Mountains with a stop at Franconia Notch State Park to see the geological wonder,

Day 4 continued: We continue traveling back toward North Conway and Crawford Notch State Park for photo stops at Silver Cascade and at the Elephant Head natural rock formation. Travel past the Willey House slide Historic Site. Later, we will be back on the Kancamagus Highway, with Stops at Albany Covered Bridge and the Rocky Gorge. Dinner is included at a local restaurant.

Day 5: Have your luggage ready for the baggage porter before your buffet breakfast at the hotel before we depart the hotel for the Cog Railroad and ride to the 6288' summit of Mount Washington – the highest Mountain peak in the Northeast– powered by one of our custom-built biodiesel locomotives! The approximately three-hour round trip is an exhilarating journey through history, technology, and nature, and plenty of time to explore the State Park at the summit.
